We develop and manufacture our own products.
Under the slogan of “Good parts, good works, good line”, our Procurement Group, Manufacturing Group and Production Engineering Group are conducting manufacturing activities, not only by using the IE (Industrial Engineering) work study but also by adopting the idea of TSP.
JIT and Automation with a human touch are the two pillars of the TPS (Toyota Production System) but we at Kameoka Electronics are currently conducting much more basic activities (see below).
|Development of standardized works||As an effort to narrow and quicken process flow, we minimize work-in-process lots (so called “One-Piece-At-A-Time Production”).|
|Interim closure||Interim closure is minimizing the flow line in-between processes.|
|BP (Best Point)||BP is to lay out at the minimum necessary distance, all parts, jigs and tools necessary to shorten elemental work time.|
|Floor logistics||Floor logistics mean in-plant distribution and are activities related to rectify property and information.
The main theme for this activity at present is “Fixed-course Pick-up (Mizu-sumashi)”.
